A: The process of planning a wedding can be overwhelming, so I’ve created a simple package that will
include all your basic photographic needs:
My staring service package includes:
- Pre-wedding consultation to discuss your wedding day
- An engagement shoot
- 8 hours of photography
- An online image gallery for sharing images with friends and family
- Post- production to tweak and convert suitable images to black and white
- A DVD with 250-300 high resolution images

Q: What is your hourly rate?
A: My hourly rate for wedding photography is R1000 per hour, so you get a great package deal to
cover your entire wedding day.
Q: Do you create albums as a service to clients?
A: Yes, as an additional service to my clients. I utilize the craftsmanship of
Master Bookbinders, based in Knysna.
These exquisite handmade albums are crafted individually to the highest quality standard, using
only the best leather and black imported paper. No two albums are the same!
Standard Album:
- 360×240 Landscape Dark Brown Leather Album with 40 black pages ( 80 pages).

Q: Tell me more about the photographic coverage?
A: The 8 hours of coverage included in the basic service package will only start upon arrival at the specific photo location. This package includes the bride getting ready, portraits of the bride, the ceremony, friends and family portraits, portraits of the bridal couple, decor / reception, the first dance, cutting of the cake and throwing of the garter and bouquet.
Q: What about prints:
A: The choice is up to you. I can pack your entire album for you. Keep in mind that the
photographer creates a story line from you prints and considers those basic design element needed
for a free flowing structure. Prints and Layout- prices depend on quantity and size of photo’s.
Q: Can I customize the package further?
A: Additional coverage, prints, artistic borders for prints, customized album and added black pages
for your album can be added on as desired. Please contact me for a customized quote, according to
your specifications.

You can showcase your entire wedding day in a beautiful Coffee Table Book, hardcover or genuine
leather!
I also offer Engagement signing books for guests to sign on your wedding day!
Q: Are there any additional costs?
A: Travel expenses are not included in this service package. AA rates will apply @ R2.50 per km.
Q: Describe your photographic style?
A: My style is romantic and contemporary and my photography is directed towards capturing
moments that inspires real emotional connections, naturally in an unobtrusive ly. I enjoy working
in an editorial style and encourage clients to simple have fun,while I snap away, but I will also
give direction as needed.
Q: So do I have to pose for the camera?
A: No! I hate posing for pictures. It is so unnatural and cheezy! I like to capture spontaneous
moments and the way people relate to each other. I offer some direction, to create a stronger visual
image. You will expected to just be yourselves – kissing, nose rubbing and cheek brushing! The client
plays an active role in achieving this!
You will become familiar with this process during your engagement shoot! It’s important that the
client understands the photographer’s style and becomes part of the process.
Q: And family portraits?
A: Ah, these formal portraits are important part of family history and I do take beautiful formal
group photos. Group portraits can be fun and informal and styled differently, using all kinds of
props!
Q: Do you shoot on Digital?
A: Yes. I use 2 digital Canon camera bodies, a film Canon body and some fast lenses. Film and
digital are different mediums and both serve a different purpose.
Digital images give immediate feedback and is easy to upload onto my Macbook for safe
keeping. On the other hand like film for its dynamic range and permanence.
Q: How much time do you need for photographs?
A: Décor shots – 30 min
Bride before the ceremony – 1 hour
Ceremony – depends on you
Family and Group shots- 30min (depending on the amount of people present)
Location shoot- 1 hour
Reception- depends on you
Q: Do I get my negatives and do I have to wait for a period of time?
A: I will provide you with 250-300 high resolution images on DVD. You can print all your images from
the disc.
The waiting period can be up to 4 weeks.
Q: I have a limited Budget, but would like to use your services. What now?
A: Friends and family can contribute to your wedding photos as an awesome gift to you!
Simply add me to your gift registry for guests to phone me and I will take care of the rest.
Q: What do I do to hire you?
A: A signed agreement and a non refundable deposit of R2000 are required to reserve your date.
Dates are filled on a first come first served basis. The deposit is deducted from the balance and the
outstanding amount is paid 7 days prior to your wedding date.
